About Subud Barcelona

Subud Barcelona was the first group to be established in Spain and was visited three times by Bapak Muhammad Subuh during his lifetime. We own our latihan hall which is quite spacious, adjacent to a smaller room where we have a good collection of Subud literature and where, at need, latihan can also be done. Barcelona is a city of renown cultural activity, with museums, libraries, outstanding architecture - like the Cathedral Sagrada Familia designed by Gaudi -, and the famous strolling area of the Ramblas, as well as countless festivals and celebrations of all types.

 

The stunning Pyrenees mountain range is but a few hours drive, and the famous monastery of Montserrat is also close by. All the way up and down the coast are beautiful beaches, coves and villages. There are two bus stops close to the centre: Clot, which can be reached on bus lines Nos. 1 and 2 and Camp de l’Arpa on bus line No. 5 which connects to the Sants train station. There is also a train station at Clot. Five subway stations will take you to the centre of town.
